Hi All,

Only came across Vendetta via your Kickstarter campaign (good luck!).

Thought I would give it ago, signed up, downloaded the MacOSX verison, and when I try and run the installer, I receive the following error message in the 'Vendetta Update Utility'.

Connecting to update1.vendetta-online.com:21024...
Latest version: vendetta-1.8.242
Patching version vendetta-1.8.203 to vendetta-1.8.242...
can't open Contents/MacOS/Vendetta! aborting!

Any ideas?

Are you trying to run it from directly from the DMG? You should copy it to your hard drive first.

I get this problem as well. I did copy to my HD first.
Any other thoughts?

Sounds like it could be some sort of permissions problem preventing the updater from updating the game files. Which directory did you put it in? You could try moving it somewhere else.
