Sound ducking after updating to 10.6.8
After updating my os from Leopard to Snow Leopard, I find my sound to be consistently popping in and out. This is affecting both sounds/music inside the game and those I'm playing in Itunes. This only occurs when playing Vendetta. I have tried other games and this does not occur while they are operating.
Hardware Overview:
Model Name: Mac mini
Model Identifier: Macmini2,1
Processor Name: Intel Core 2 Duo
Processor Speed: 2 GHz
Number Of Processors: 1
Total Number Of Cores: 2
L2 Cache: 4 MB
Memory: 2 GB
Bus Speed: 667 MHz
Boot ROM Version: MM21.009A.B00
SMC Version (system): 1.19f2
Serial Number (system): YM90907LYL4
(Frustratingly, I can not find any information on my soundcard. If anyone happens to know where this can be found, that might help too.)
Edit: I have tried a complete reinstall with no addons, and I find the problem still persists. I likely will try no-addons again to confirm.
