Vendetta freezing
Twice today, I have entered a sector for a hive skirmish and had VO lock up. The first time was a few seconds after I warped into a Levi sector. The second time, a few moments ago, was a Critical mission. I engaged a Prosus Assault, scored a couple of hits, then the program hung; frozen screen, last sounds on infinite sustain... The second time I gave it extra time to see if it would unfreeze, but it did not, and I was able to kill it.
I've been playing on this machine for about 5 months, and these are the first times this has happened.
MacOS 10.6.4, 2.4Ghz MBPro 17 with 4gig ram.

After today's update, whenever I log out of Vendetta Online, the "password" screen freezes, and won't clear, causing me to shut off the power, and restart everything, which is annoying.
Occasionally, during play today, the screen would freeze in use, for usually less than a second, then pick up again, though in "the future". This has happened before, but is very uncommon, and very rare. Not really worth mentioning. Today it happened more than any other day, like maybe 10 or 15 times through the day. I thought maybe the cache was the problem, so I emptied the cache. The slight pause and skip never recurred that I remembered after emptying the cache, but the exit freeze still happened. At least it didn't freeze in game solidly, like the other guy in this thread. I have an imac OSX 10.5.8 /2.4 GHZ Intel processor. 1 Gig Memory, 4 Gig cache

After the latest update, when I log out, the exit screen freezes, and refuses to yield to my computer. I then have to shut down power and reboot.
You might want to post this in the bugs forum Capt.
Also, instead of doing a shutdown / reboot just open the terminal and type "top" (minus the quotes) and find the vendetta process and kill it. (just hit k and it will prompt you for the PID to kill: just type in the # and then hit enter)

Something very similar has been happening to me more and more frequently lately. Client locks, usually immediately upon some event (jump to new sector, hit carriage return, move joystick, line of chat completes, etc.) Symptoms vary, sometimes black screen with infinite sound sustain, or checkered blue screen with no sound, or jump graphic freezes, or PDA freezes, etc., etc. The only resolution I've found is to hit computer's off button and reboot. Usually happens early in a session. If I get past five minutes, things are usually stable thereafter. Doesn't seem to matter if other apps are active or not.

Hmm, I rarely get a total freeze, but of late I have noticed a short freeze or lag of about
5-10 secs on certain events . Particularly on logging on, quitting after the logoff screen, launching from stations or jumping into busy sectors.
Since I am seeing virtually no lag spikes once in a sector I feel there is something other than net lag going on.
Anyway, I'll try and keep a more accurate record of this, might help.
