VO on Parallels
So, tonight I tested running VO on Parallels 5 Beta. I had Parallels windowed and VO windowed within Parallels. It was running off my Boot Camp XP partition. I was using a 20" 2.4 GHz iMac with only 1 GB of RAM. It ran beautifully. Nice frame rate. No major visible bugs. I was very impressed. There is obviously no practical reason to run VO like this, but it was a test of the capabilities of Parallels. Older versions of Parallels that I've tried in the past didn't run VO nearly this well, if I remember correctly.
I'll note that VMware Fusion barely can run at all off my Boot Camp partition. For some reason it was so slow that it was useless. Parallels seems to handle Boot Camp partitions much better than VMware. I highly recommend Parallels for anyone who needs to run Windows software on their Mac.

Heh, yeah. It's good to know Parallels works well enough to play VO.
