I take it you are refering to the os right? That's just software, I would assume you could find it OEM bundled with speakers.

All Macs except for the Mac Mini and Mac Pro come with speakers, AFAIK.

the griffin IMic is a useful wee thing for connecting macs to hi fi systems ...

If you do not have a Mini-TOSLINK headset, the iMic is probably one of the most important accessories for a Mac, besides a good mouse and a printer.

You mean a mighty mouse, right?

I like the mighty mouse.. and I use a trackball..

No, I don't like the Mighty Mouse that much... I applaud Apple for finally giving customers a multi-button mouse out of the box, but I've been using Logitech gaming mice for years now, and am quite happy so far.

So, I think the mouse question is one of choice.

Yea, true, tosh.. In other news, I was doing some cable tv work for a seminary over in MS the other evening.. The communications head is a mac fanatic. I walk into his office and begin drooling.. He had.. on ONE desk, 2 intel imac 24" and a G5 tower.. all hooked up into some awesome looking recording equipment. Turns out he's also responsible for creating training movies and other interesting materials...

Then, I noticed a lone G4 quicksilver on the floor, not hooked up.. "What's wrong with the G4?" He says "Not sure, I haven't had a chance to tinker, but I think it's probably in need of a power supply, if that's the case, I'll prolly just throw it away." ?!?!?!?!

I said "Noooo! Don't throw it out.. I'll take it"

So.. in the next few days or so, I'll know whether or not I'm getting a free dual G4 woot. (sure it'll need a little fixing.. but it's cheaper to fix it than buy a new one!)

Woot indeed. I'm ever so happy about my own G4 MDD 867 MHz which I bought about 1.5 years ago. It's a bit noisy, but I love it nonetheless. I hope you're as content with yours as I am with mine.
