I have a widescreen magnavox hdlcd tv that as a normal display hooked up uses a 60 hertz NTSC refresh it is not PAL compatible. I'm wondering how to get VO to display on it when i can't change the refresh on VO from os x..

some VCR's have options for different sorts of signal output, maybe you could convert the signal that way.

Maybe try a DVI to hdmi cable. Your LCd might have VGA, in that case how about a DVI to VGA cable. I suppose you have a mini-DVI to DVI adapter already. If not you might have to get that one too.
