23 in. Apple Cinema Display USB port problem
I recently purchased a 23 in. ACD to use with my first generation (2 GHz Intel Core Duo) MacBook (the black one). Hardware wise, everything is stock on it.
Something I noticed is after roughly twenty minutes of play time on Vendetta Online, the USB ports of the monitor would be disabled, and I'm not sure if it is VO related or OS related. The USB ports on the MacBook would be working fine. My OS is up to date (10.4.9).
If I quit VO, and unplug the USB plug that connects the ACD usb port to the MacBook, and plug it back in again, everything would be working fine.
Also, if this may help, I am not using both the MacBook monitor and the ACD. I usually just the ACD only with the MacBook monitor off.
What I have plugged in is a Mighty Mouse and an Apple Pro Keyboard to the monitor's USB port.
Eh. . . . they just stopped working again, and I'm forced to use the MacBook keyboard to finish this. . . Guess this is not VO related. . . Just tried replugging and it didn't work.
Any suggestions?

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, VO LOOKS AWESOME WITH THIS MONITOR!
No idea. Never ran into this problem with my 20" monitor. Not when I had it hooked up to a Powermac G5, nor to my laptop. Then again, with the laptop, I was using Windows, so I would have to say it's an OS thing.
I took the monitor to the store for replacement. New one works just fine. Must have been a faulty unit.
