Completely worth the price.
It's almost as if it has several different technologies in one object.
I like the dual-finger-pinch or dual-finger-spread scaling thingy.
you could feed a dozen african children for a year
african children eat iPhones?
Thanks to LeberMac I rolled into some old avocado that was on the floor when I fell over laughing.
If I could buy one without any contract and unlocked, I would be willing to put down up to $1200 in cash for it.
Holy $#!! Daniel, are you serious? if you are, I could arrange you not having to have a contract...(I'd buy it, then give it to you)
Of course, we'd have to wait for someone to make some unlocking hacks (that shouldn't take long)

Well that contract runs how much over 2 years with cingular? $50 a month? $1200 in 2 years? I am not using them so dont know.
who knows zamzx when time comes and its available we talk again, maybe we have a deal hehe. But I also believe there will be other models, with lower price come end of the year and next year.
how else would you set a price on the first commercial multitouch pad?
The RAZR started at a $500 price point as well, and was the cutting edge of phone technology. (Ha ha, get it?)
yeah... and now anyone seen using a RAZR in public is looked down at as being totally "out". That's how fast things go.
I'm rather interested in the iPhone as well, but aside from the price being rather
steep, I've read that Cingular/AT&T will NOT be providing service for the iPhone
on their 3G network. Why they would be soooooo stoopid is beyond me. But it
has chilled my enthusiasm for the time being.

I'm interested in seeing how it'll turn out in the long run.
