Help!
I am new to this game, and I need some assistance. I apparently try to open the downloaded version of Vendetta, but something happens, and I cannot play. Can somebody verify the issue, and help me out, because Vendetta looks like a pretty sweet game, and I'm dying to play.

Be more specific. Try opening it again and after it crashes, command click(or right click) on the vendetta icon and go to show package contents. Open errors.log and copy and paste everything here. That *may* help to solve the issue, whatever it may be.
I think what the moldster means is 'CONTROL-CLICK" on the Vendetta.app icon, in order to see the package contents.
Then you'll be able to copy stuff from inside there.

The new two button mouse spoils me.
You should try a 7-button mouse! I can almost fly my ship completely from my mouse!
When i try to open the game i get an error message that says operation quit unexpectedly. the error file says this:

Johnebooch, how did you install VO? Did you copy the app to your harddrive and did you make sure you have enough free space?
It seems like it was unable to open the video driver for some reason. Either it didn't get copied properly or it copied without the executable bit properly set.
If you look inside the Vendetta app you should see a drivers folder that should have a couple .dylib files. Do a Get Info on one of them and see if the executable flag is set on it. Too tired to double check and see if what I said would work.

I recommend you run permissions check before anything else? That might fix it.
