Black screen on startup with music
Tried to start the program (1.2.4), but all I get is a black screen (sometimes out of signal where the LCD flicks between analog/digital searching) with music in the background. Any ideas what is going on? I'm running a DP1.25 G4 FW800 with a FX5200 grahpics card and 10.4.2.
Sounds like the game is trying to start up in a graphics mode that your LCD or video card won't support.
If this is the case, find the Vendetta application, control/right click it and select "Show Packages Contents". Then open up config.ini in a text editor, and look for the [Vendetta] section in the file. Change the xres, yres and bpp to values which you know work on your machine (your current screen resolution and bit depth should be a good place to start). Save the file, and start Vendetta again, and see if that helps.
Post back if something still seems broken

Also make sure the following values have been set in your "config.ini" file...
tc=0
doshaders=0
The first one is for texture compression. The second one is for shaders. Both have been known to cause problems displaying graphics for the OS X client of Vendetta.
