Unable to connect.
When starting the game, I go thru the usual steps...Click on "Play", get the login screen, enter password click on login, get the next screen that says "connecting", and thats it. Nothing. If I wait long enough, it will eventually tell me something like "connection terminated by server"....I've only waited that long once so not sure of exact phrase. It is necessary to repeat the process several times to connect. I'm using a Mac G4 dual 1GHz, OSX 10.2.4. Any ideas? Thanks.
Firstly, get 10.2.5, secondly, what is your internet connection type and speed? Do you have a firewall?
I will go look for the update right away. I have DSL 768K. No firewall.
Interesting...you should connect instantly.
Are u connected directly to your dsl...or are you going through a router?

This might not matter, but are you connecting via the update client or Vendetta client (directly)?
I did the update to OSX 10.2.5. I connect directly to the DSL (no router)
The problem continues.
The problem continues.
When I launch Vendetta, the "Vendettaupdater" appears. When it finishes its brief check for newer versions, I click on the "Play Vendetta" button which starts Vendettaclient. Is there another way to do it?
Open up the package and lanch the accualy app so you don't have to go through the stupid updater. Thats what i do just becouse i have had past probloms with the updater hanging on me, i am an impatient person.
right click on the updater>show package contents>vendettaclient
right click on the updater>show package contents>vendettaclient
Umm, thats very unwise, something would go wrong if something updated or you deleted a file, or changed a file, the updater basically makes sure your data contents are the same is the real one...
you can run vendetta from the client, if there is a update it won't let you connect.
It seems that all connecting probs have been resolved with the update to 3.2. My best guess is that a portion of the client was corrupted which resulted in the repeated connection difficulties. I thank all of you who offered advice.
