Panther 10.3.9 is available
Well apples made it to the end of panther updates. I hope this one works.
I'll let anyone know of any issues as I have it installed already.

I'm confused. The Apple website says "OSX Server update 10.3.9." I'm not running
a server. Are you?
a server. Are you?
There is an update for 10.3.8 server edition. We got the one for regular 10.3.8.
Is it just me, or is safari slightly slower then starting up, like it takes a few seconds(not much) to be able to type in the address bar if you click there before it finishes starting up.
Also, Devs, will this be helping vendetta at all?(the update i mean)

I logged on real quick after upgrading and it seemed smoother overall, although I haven't been on in a while so it could just be my imagination. I couldn't find a cap ship tho. Made me sad :(
And btw, they still did one more patch for Jaguar after Panther came out, so this might not necessarily be the last 10.3.x upgrade for Panther.

Is it my imagination, or did the OS and Safari get slower after the update?
safari got a little slower. But I think it stopped. Or maybe I just got used to it.
Yes, Safari seems to have become a bit slower. But a "Java" update just became
available today, and that seems to have improved things a bit. Or is it MY imagination?

the update was only needed if you went into the terinal and typed "java -version" and it said segmentation error. Otherwise you didn't need to download that update. It was on the apple info page about the update
Lotsa problems with OS X 10.3.9, I kept my home mac at 10.3.8.
There is going to be an update to 10.3.9, but I hear Apple is quite unsure as to what to call it...
