PS4 controller not working in tutorial
I am checking out this game for the 1st time and going through the tutorial. When the 1st tutorial pops up, it seems to recognize my PS4 controller that is connected to my PC. But when it moves to the 2nd tutorial, it still gives the option for the controller config but none of the buttons work. The controller is recognized as a generic wireless controller by Win10 and all buttons and analogues work in the control panel tester. in Win10 At this point, if I can play this game with a controller I might consider it but there is no way I am paying to play it from a keyboard. I spend all day coding from a keyboard and don't want to spend my free time on one.
Update: Looks like it might just be the analogue and D pad are not being recognized by the game. I have found some other buttons are working.
Update: I think I figured out the problem. When the game 1st launches for a new player they go into simulation and they don't get a chance to config the Keyboard settings. All they get is a control pad if one is plugged in. When this happens the game can't figure out what to do. So I finally got to the main screen where you can select options and once I configured items in there, it started working even in the simulator.

Glad you figured it out! For an issue like this, it'd be best if you (and any others who might be reading this) could post to [bugs] instead. The platform-specific subforums are much less visited, and might be better for issues that aren't time-sensitive or that the community could help with a lot more.
I found it better to use DS4. It converts ps4 controller to a xbox 1 controller. Windows has way better support for xbox controllers.
Another possiable fix is add to steam on a external game. Open big screen mode (controller UI) and launch vo from the steam big picture mode. It adds better config support and u can change any part and bind to any keyboard of mouse key.
