Triple Monitor Surround Gaming Mode
Hey Guys, i just tried to play Vendetta over 3 Monitors but it wont work.
i have WIN10 and a GForce GTX 2070 Super and 3 HP 27" 144HZ Monitors, but it shows always "Unsupported".
i tried DX11. DX9 (and OpenGL + Vulkan dont have the option).
Do i need to install something else?
Anyone else had this Bug?
Thx. Matlox

As far as I recall, this feature was only supported on Matrox TripleHead2Go extenders (one of these https://www.trustedreviews.com/reviews/matrox-triplehead2go ); these devices sound magic, but they basically report one screen to the graphics card, and using clever tricks this one display is spread out across 3 screens (so your GPU is doing all the grunt work). On some titles (like VO) you can use surround gaming mode, and the game will adjust itself so the HUD is in the center, and left+right give you extra wide FOV.
Not sure if this is entirely possible on Windows without the use of third party apps, but you kind of can do it without this option by setting VO to run in window mode (maybe hide the taskbar), set the resolution to be as wide and tall as your 3 screens (either by dragging the window, or in the ini file if that doesn't work), and set the HUD to only be drawn to 4:3 aspect ratio. Not perfect, but if you play with /set fov you can get something that works well.

That should work, but it will only work in Windowed mode, as your graphics card (and possibly VO itself) will not support that as a full screen resolution. Are you editing the file when the game is running? You must edit the file when the game is closed, as VO writes its settings on a successful game close it will overwrite any changes made when the game is open.
If I am 100% honest, I have never ever done this on the Windows client (I used to play on Linux mainly, or GearVR, hence the not entirely sure if it will work bit) and I have no plan to reinstall the game to try.

Oh, one other thing to check, as you have used more than one driver of VO, there will be multiple lines for them, so there will be a [directx11] and a [directx9] section in there probably. Make sure you are editing the section for the mode you are now using. The last one used isn't always at the top of the file.
