I am unable to connect on my PC but am able to do so on my Android. Both Devices are connected to the same network so I am wondering what troubleshooting options exist.

I am behind a comcast xfinity router.

It is likely that you have some sort of firewall that is interfering. Try temporarily turning off your firewall to see if VO connects, then turn it back on. Sometimes this forces the firewall to accept or to ask if it should accept VO. You can also manually allow VO. If that doesn't work at all, see if you have an additional firewall.

I have tried turning off the firewall and it didn't do anything. I also tried looking at wireshark but I didn't know what to look for. Lastly, my phone is connected to the same network and it can connect.

Also, I checked and double check that it is allowed in my Norton firewall.

Please either open a support ticket, which is under "Support" in the bottom of the left margin, or post in "Bugs" and include your OS, firewall, and internet interface.

Obviously if you can get through with your phone, it's a computer issue. The usual culprit is security software not automatically recognizing VO as friendly. Norton in particular has a habit of not really bing "off", and sometimes needs to be turned off a few times.

Could you tell us a bit about your PC? OS and some technical specs?

Hello, I am unable to connect to Vendetta Online on my laptop. Once I've opened the game, it allows me login then select a character, and press the play button, after that it will display the "Entering Universe" box for a few minutes but then it says "We were unable to connect to the Vendetta Online game server. Please check that your internet connection is enabled, and try again. Restrictive firewalls may also block the game connection, contact your network administrator for more information." Does anyone have any ideas on how to resolve this.

Have you tried it without your firewall on to see if that is the issue? If it is, you may have to allow vendetta manually.

I have tried turning off my firewall and opening the game but the same thing happens.

I have also tried manually allowing Vendetta through my firewall but it still did the same thing.

If you are using a 3rd party firewall, sometimes the Windows firewall continues to interfere even though it is supposed to be off:

Another thought: if you are connecting via an institution's internet, there may be additional firewalls.

Thank you for the advice, I followed the link to the Microsoft support website and followed the steps to turn off the firewall and it seems to have worked.
