Request: Full screen windowed mode.
I'm a multiple monitor user. The desired behavior I want in the games I play is to be able to maximize the game on one monitor, and be able to change focus to a window on the other monitor and still be able to see and hear the game on the first.
Fullscreen mode wont do this, because the moment you change focus it minimizes to the task bar.
Windowed mode is a a little bit better for this, but still not what we are looking for. You still have all the re-sizing gadgets and window frame there taking up space.
What mode games do is implement "Full screen windowed mode" which is a full, screen sized, window, without all the window manager gunk. Just the raw frame, but you can mouse out of it to the second monitor. That's the desired behavior for most multiple monitor users.
The only thing better than having the game in full screen windowed mode for us multiple monitor folks would be the ability to pop windows out of the game screen, such as the chat window, or a nav map, and drag it over the second monitor.
Thanks!

Yes, please support this.
To be honest, I have seen this implemented with out much hassle in other games. DirectX (or is it Windows.. ? I seem to have forgotten.) has a call that can make the application show in an uhh .. un-managed viewport? un-managed window? something like that.
