Windows 8 x64
here's a list:
-It asked me if I wanted accelerometer or touch buttons
-Starts in 3rd person view
-Font is huge for some reason, had to manually scale it back
-If I change video settings it crashes

But wait there's more
I changed the video stuff to high detail on everything and then launched and it looked like i was sitting still because the station was behind me but the distance counter went up and then said i could warp so i warped to another sector which was a storm, the space was blue, no particles or storm fog, bots looked normal, killed the queen, went back, the original sector worked this time (no space junk) but when i got close the docks turned yellow

Thanks. We're aware of the video settings problems and have had an update for the Windows Store sitting in certification for over a week that should fix the rendering and video setting problems.
Nice, I'll check it out when it posts
Updated from Win7 64 bit Home or whatever to Win 8 Pro 64 bit. No changes from last time I logged on, everything still works as expected, except from the fact that guild activity logs and bank logs now load instantaneously instead of the 2 minute delay that was introduced a while back when you did the mission load changes.
Oh...and since I've told everyone else I know....I really dislike Metro, couldn't switch to Start8 fast enough, so kudos to Stardock for that one. Just getting old and ornery I guess...

In the Windows Store version, it doesn't seem to detect my joystick and when i click [scan for joysticks] it crashes the game.
The Windows Store version doesn't support joysticks yet, sorry. Our joystick code needs to be ported to the XInput2 API.
That makes sense, and I figured as much. I'll have to try it out again when it supports joysticks, I've only ever used a joystick for the game so yeah.... mousing it is bad.
Ok so most of my graphics issues are resolved but still no storm particles, just blue looking space.
The graphics options are fairly reduced and none of the options turned that back on.

Store version doesn't seem to be working.... Doesn't start.
On what hardware? Did it work before on the same computer/device?
It's been working fine on our Windows 8/RT computers/tablets.
Is there an errors.log file (or any other logs) that is generated?
