Hi, I just installed Vendetta for the first time on a Windows 7 (32) Ultimate laptop (Nvidia graphix) but I can't get past the update, as it starts downloading, but then stops at 129KB, at first it was stopping at 88KB, but then I restarted Vendetta a few times and it went up to 129KB, this is for update *** Vendetta 1.8.165.2. I've tried running Vendetta in compatibility mode (for Vista) and running as administrator, but neither of those work, (not sure why they would, but was worth a try). Any ideas please?

oh and I've added a firewall exception for Vendetta too...

just tried restarting the system, but that hasn't helped either...

tried it for about the sixth time and it's now completed the update! oh well... now to have a go and play this thing ;)

ya i cant get mine 2 update at all no matter what i do, it frezzes at a point and thats it idk what 2 do !!~!!

heh this sounds odd i've had issues with the updater going really really slow like 50kb/s but never had it hang mid update.

Windows 7. I just installed vendetta online but when it reaches the vendetta update utility screen it doesnt do anything past displaying connecting to update1. vendetta-online.com: 21024

I sometimes boot up Windows 7 just to update the client, and haven't had any issues. I use the 32-bit Ultimate version. Which specific version are you having a issue with rabbisteak?

not to worry guys. it seems to have sorted itself out. :P have we been having trouble with the update server?
