System Crash - Screen Goes Black
After about 5 to 10 minutes of play the video signal quits and the system locks up. Have to power down and restart.
Nvidia GTS 250, Driver version 190.62, Asus P7P55D MB with Intel i5 750, 4 GB Memory, Windows XP MCE 2005 all updates current.
dxdiag reports no problems with DX9.0c
3Dmark06 - Ran through all the game simulations with no problem
Verified there are no errant leftover drivers with Driver Sweeper
Do you see any compatibility issues above? I'll be borrowing a video card from a buddy tomorrow so I guess we'll see what that does.

I see no incompatibilities.
The two things I can think of are nvidia driver bugs or gpu overheating.

Ray - Thanks for the quick reply.
I wiped out the nvidia drivers and reloaded them, still kept crashing but this time I did manage to catch an error
STOP 0x000000EA THREAD_STUCK_IN_DEVICE_DRIVER
Since I had already reloaded the drivers I tried putting an old card in the machine and shazam just finished flying around for 45 minutes without incident.
Time to chase XFX for a replacement card.

FYI for anyone interested.
Since I can't crash the system in another game XFX is unwilling to take a look at my card.
I'm still working with them on it, but not a warm and fuzzy feeling regarding their service so far. Just data if anyone is considering an XFX card.
