Logitech LX8 cordless mouse
so ya..
there's like..
a ton of buttons on this thing..
is there a way i can get VO to recognize the buttons that are not LMBUTTON, MMBUTTON, RMBUTTON, and mousewheel up/down?
that would be dope-sauce!
there's a side to side scroll thing on the wheel, and an extra button on either side of the mouse that logitech's software uses for Back and Forward on webpages..
think it's possible?

I have a 5 button mouse and all buttons are recognized.
Try using XMBUTTONN where N is the button number of the mouse. For a ten-button mouse you should have access to 0-9.

cool. is there a way to find out the N of each button, or is it a trial and error typa thing?
ok, so..
i've found a way to make VO recognize two of the extra mouse buttons.
these two being the buttons on the side of the mouse.
open setpoint (the program that you must install for the LX8) and assign those buttons to "generic button".
they will still work for "back" and "forward" in mozilla firefox (the only browser i use and have tested this on) so it doesn't matter if you assign them to generic.
i'm still working on the "scroll left" and "scroll right" buttons. i may not get them to work..

also works if you just dont run the set point software, im still using the mx610 Seems they don't make them anymore, haven't for a while, so i found reforger has them fairly cheap so i bought up a pile of them, left 4 dead wore out my right mouse button on my previous one.
the 610 has the xmbuttons and it has volume controles on it, it also has an email and im button that i never use.
