I was just going through my vo folder on my Eee and i noticed a pair of files i haven't noticed before; "medi160c.pch" and "vend58e9.pch"

I didn't put them there and that last one has a vendetta onlineish ring to it, what do they do someone, please enlighten me!

Those are partially-downloaded patches from the updater. e.g. if you quit the updater in the middle of a download, it leaves those behind, so that it can resume downloading those files next time you run it. I suppose if you do that, and then we release a new patch, it will never delete them; the hex string is just a hash of the versions it's going from and to.

I didn't previously consider that possibility, so I guess it's a bug.
