this may have nothing to do with vo at all, but a little while ago i remember seeing a windows side bar bug in the bugs forums, i cant find it to link to now but, after the previous post the next update seemed to fix my problem, could be a co-insadence. Every time i shut down my computer the side bar crashed and fails to shut down the computer, and as i say it hasn't done it in a while, until saturday after vendetta update, so there might be a bug in there, im really not sure.

VO does not change anything related to the vista ugly assed widget box, or sidebar as ye like to call it. How can it? It installs 0 dll files, it puts NOTHING inside yer precious Windows folder, and is pretty much self contained.

The sidebar is prolly crashing, cos its crap. The only thing that can make it crash on shutdown are custom widgets that may not be coded nice. Does it crash if ye dont play a game of VO? Becuase if so, it really is not VO related.

My widget box crashed and burned very shortly after I got my latest computer and had Vista thrust upon me (it was a corporate deal). I've made no attempt to revive it and don't miss it at all.
