so far it looks like my new comp is gonna be able to run cause its got integrated intel graphics and it uses 64 megs of ram for video memory

VO requires 800x600 minimum. The EEE PC can only do 800x480, if it runs, you may be missing some of the screen, but my guess is VO will just bomb out complaining it cannot find a usable resolution.

I know ill be able to run it in window mode missing part of the screen :)

I have already attempted an install on my eee pc.

Sadly, the archive extraction fails and it bombs out....
I am considering just coopying the game files over from a desktop to see if that will work....

or installing ubuntu on it, but im not sure if that will break glx...

my dad and my mom are getting a cople of Eees so i might be able to help you guys out with that a bit later

And from what i heard mane 3d apps run very poorly in xandros and if your gonna game on your Eee you're much better off with doze.

Twould be real nice if i could run it at 800x480 tho :)

for those interested, I was able to get vendetta working fine on an acer aspire one, 1024x600 screen res, intel gma945 running gentoo linux with no issues.

Runs Vendetta Online fairly well, considering the fact I'm on a 900 MHz processor. I can do anything but BS with 8~10 FPS.
