My monitor is rotated 90 degrees (so that it displays in portrait) ... great for coding, sucks heavily for VO. I'm running VO in windowed mode and it runs great, however the best resolution I can select is 800x600 as all the rest on offer are mapped to the portrait layout - that is are taller than they are wide. I tried to change the config.ini file to set a 1024x768 resolution, but it wont take it and it keeps reverting it to 800x600.

Is there any way to get VO to accept the setting in the .ini file? All help appreciated.

AFAIK, DirectX has to understand the mode for VO to understand it. Hmm, just a thought, but have you tried using the OpenGL driver? Sometimes other drivers can do other things.

VO will only accept modes that Windows enumerates.

What resolution is your desktop exactly?
