Can't get Vendetta to work.
Hello,
I am having problems getting this game to start. First I have been able to play this game under my linux box. I installed windows, because...that's not important. So I know for a fact that my system should be fine since it worked in linux.
Ok I have installed the client yesterday. Then once it was finised, I chose the play vendetta option and finish the install. Then the game went through an update, then I pressed play. But the game freezes up and I have to alt+tab then I will be able to close the application. So, I uninstalled all my drivers and reinstalled them. Installed vendetta from a different mirror. And still the same thing. Here is all my information regarding my system using dxdiag, and my log files.

Please disregard this post. I fixed the issue. It WAS a driver problem. I was using the driver on ati's website. But found the driver that came with the video card. I loaded it up, and vendetta worked right away. Now I just have a beef with ati and their drivers. Everyone says update your driver, update your driver. That could be the problem. And when you do, it doesn't work. Never mind just venting.
Wow. That sounds exactly like what I had, the problem with Vista. I should really back up my stuff and try it again.
