Spaceball 4000 and VO
I recently acquired a Spaceball 4000 DLX for free, and was wondering if anyone else had gotten one to work with VO? I found a bunch of Linux drivers which allow the Spaceball to be used as a joystick, but, alas, none for Windows.
Any information would help.
Thanks.

I've never heard of anyone using a spaceball here, but it sounds cool.
Hmmm. So, does anyone know anything about programming Windows drivers? Or maybe I should switch to Linux. :D
For anyone who is interested, I got the Spaceball 4000 FLX to work with VO.
Since this model has a serial connector, I had to use this:
http://www.deinmeister.de/spmcur_e.htm
This app changes the Spaceball rotations and such into keyboard output.
If you have a USB-based model, this app would work better:
http://rbc.duckinegg.com/
This one will actually create a virtual joystick device, allowing you to use it in VO.
Again, these are only for the Spacetec (now apparently owned by Logitech) 3D devices.
