ok, i lied, it was an error called "d3d9.something or other" (along the lines of that) i just inferred it was from the lack of "DirectX" but it keeps saying that reinstalling might fix the problem (which it didnt, lollerskates), i just asked if he was missing sumthing in the requirements list thingy and he said he had no idea whether or not he had "DirectX," so i thot it might be that ^_^ however i shuldnt have becus i dont know much bout windows cus i use a mac

DirectX is built-in for all Winblows machines. It comes with the operating system. He has another problem, it seems.

O_o

Wait, then how did he get the error if DirectX is built into the windows computers? I guess it's just too out of date? His computer is pretty old, so I guess it might not have DirectX 9.0. I'll try and fix it then when I see him again, thanks!
