Can't Play Vendetta...
OK. I paid my fees and update works also but when I try to click play it says vendetta.rlb failed to load? What's that mean?
Never mind. I fixed it.
I'm having the same problem, how did you fix it?
This is often a firewall issue that crops up for new users, or for existing users immediately aften a Vendetta update. Often times VO overlays the firewall's pop-up alert and won't allow you to see it to learn of the issue or respond. My system locks up, but ALT-TAB should allow you to leave full-screen and deal with the pop-up.
You can test it most easily by briefly disabling your firewall (if you have Win XP the built-in firewall may need to be disabled more than once because it's sneaky - same if you have a 3rd party firewall and XP). If you have a router, it may have a firewall too.
If you can play VO with the firewall disabled, then you need to make the firewall permit VO. I have Norton and have found that I can disable Norton, start VO, then pop back to the desktop to re-enable Norton. The alert box pops up and I can then hit OK to allow VO. Other firewalls may behave similarly. Otherwise, you may have to go in and manually allow both vendetta.exe and vendetta.rlb.
Failing all that, you may have a bad .rlb and need to reinstall...but I doubt it.

I've already tried reinstalling...
The thing is, since it's the Windows part of my Mac Book Pro I leave the firewall off. The only reasons I use Windows is for programming and occasionally games, but nowhere near as much as I do the mac side, so its more of a hassle to turn it off/on/enable specific things over and over. Every time my comp turns on it gives the "No firewall" popup, so I don't think this is the problem, but I'll still try your alt-tab thing next time I run windows.

I'm still having this problem...

Have you tried allowing vendetta.rlb and vendetta.exe? You shouldn't have to re-allow.
You might just try running VO in a window so that you can see if the game's screen is covering some important alert.

Can you post a screenshot of the error?

Oh come on, Microsoft is more evil than Satan, Bill Gates is the Antichrist, Vista DRM is the mark of the beast, and running Windows is akin to eternal damnation... what exactly are you saving it from?
