I can not open Vendetta, it flickers to the loading screen then prematurely exits like no bodys business.. No errors or any other information to go by.

Can you tell us more about your system?

We can assume Windows, probably XP, but:

What speed processor?
How much RAM?
What make and model of video card,including RAM?
Do you have a software or hardware firewall?

Were you able to open it and play prior to the 1.5 update?

2x512MB Corisair XMS2 DDR2 PC6400
XFX Nvidia Geforce 7800GTX 256MB

and strangly enoth after an uninstall of Vendetta, a Reboot reinstall then another reboot the issue has not accured as of yet agian in 24HRs.

Well... cool.

Reading elesewhere, it appears that a few people have had to at least reboot after the update. It doesn't appear to be exclusive to Windows, however.

Freaking great the issue is back and rebooting dose not fix it...

Can you run a memory test on your system? Maybe there's some bad ram or poorly seated ram or something.
Maybe the video card overheats immediately.

Hmm. Another question is what are your access rights on the computer? Maybe it's failing that for some reason.
Try checking the system logs for any info on why it's failing.
