stops on negotiating 1.2.6
i already played vendetta in a cyber station..but when i arrived home, downloaded and all, nothin seemed to work...he Vendetta Update Utility isnt workin, it freezes when its "Negotiating update to vendetta 1.2.6...." please , help” I need to play badly...and ive already deactivated windows firewall and lowered ie security..
who is your ISP, and are you operating behind a hardware firewall or broadband router?

It appears that you have done your homework and have tried exactly the right things. The problem is very probably the XP firewall. Although you have disabled it, sometimes it doesn't actually disable. I've seen this a few times.

Try completely closing the Vendetta Launcher, logging out from your ISP, and completely closing your browser (and anything else you may have open). Then go back and shut off your XP firewall. If you have ANY other antivirus / firewall software, shut that totally down as well. Now log back in to your ISP. This seems unnecessary, but recheck that the firewall is off. If all looks good, try the Vendetta launcher again.
If you get on, go ahead and re-enable your protection software while you are logged into the game. It will very likely recognize VO and request handling instructions. Failing this, you may have to go in and manually allow vendetta.
