Maybe a bug, maybe lag
Every once in a while when dogfighting, my mouse will stop responding and it'll just continue firing (if I was firing) and I won't be able to move my mouse for a while. I've had the same problem using 2 different mice (both logitech USB, one wired, one wireless), and both have the problem. The odd thing is that my keyboard still works, and I can slow down, stop, accel., etc... oh yeah, and the enemy can still hit me... I lost two lives this way...
THis may just be due to lag though, I'm not sure.

I got the same thing, but it was that my joystick was stuck on turbo intermittently.
Which OS? The game may have lost mouse focus but not keyboard focus, and that may look like the mouse stopped responding.
That may happen if you are running multiple desktops or running in window mode.

I was using 10.2.4
Heh, duh, this is in the Windows forum, so I guess UHRBid is using windows.
Wait... I was using Win XP... It was switching to joystick from mouse in os X...
Pyro, update your mac! it's ancient now! ;-) (as in get 10.2.5)
I can't... The ethernet port is shot, they want me to 630 bucks to get the logic board replaced, I can't use a pcmcia card because it doesn't have a slot for it, and I can't use a usb->ethernet adapter because there aren't any mac drivers...
Ummm, Cheaper way to fix, get an airport base station, buy a card, plug in base station and put card in, voilá!
ugh airports suck...get an smc barracade...4x the range...one hell of a lot faster...and guess what 100 dollars cheaper.
Hmm, not a bad idea considering my lynkses station thing is dieing...
Let's see... 75 bucks for the airport card, plus 100 or 200 for the base station... I think I'd rather get some upgrades for my PC... Mmm... GeForce Ti4200... Yum...
