Just wondering... cause I added VO to my launch menu and I'd like to add an icon for it. Couldn't find one on the site, or anywhere on my system.

If there isn't one, I could easily make one.

I just looked..couldnt find one. Vendetta forums are very willing for you to do stuff on your own. My suggestion is to just make one then post it for others to dl it or devs to implement it..

isn't the vendetta icon the little green warphole-looking thing?

Well I did search the forum for "XPM or PNG" so it's not like I didn't try....

So, why isn't that provided with the game?

It may just be me, but, that graphic doesn't really seem to suit VO very well.

That's the official icon. It's included with the Windows and Mac OS X versions. At one point, a1k0n was gonna put it with the Linux version (perhaps in /usr/share/icons/) but that never happened. I host the icon here: http://www.roguelazer.com/images/vendetta.png

Why not have a Vult as an icon? Or a Cent? OR a Warthog?

An icon should scale well from 16x16 to 128x128, ships tend to be too detailed for 32x32, I don't want to go "Okay, vendetta is the blurry gray blob in the dock."

BTW, I believe that newer versions of VO ship with an antialiased version of that same icon, but don't quote me on it. I ought to extract the icon from the OS X version, it's 128x128...

I've put together an icon based off of the Itani ship. It only took a few minutes, so it wouldn't be too hard to do other ones as well, assuming that people give me some good screenshots or something.
