When i was ctcing someone blocked the pyranos docking bay with a behemoth.. I think theres a quick fix to this. All that needs to be on is, implement a set timer, say 15 seconds, in the docking bay and you will automatically be shoved out 1500M from the station, allowing people to dock. If they decide to block it again it will just do that again. To make it seem more rpg like we could add a little story line saying, "pirates blocks the docking bay to cut off trade to often, so now when anyone does this the station guards call for the shover ship or w/e and make it fire the people off into space when they are inactive in a docking bay for 15 seconds." The inactivity in the docking bay would start when anyone is within 10m of the docking bay entrence.

I don't really see this as a major issue, unless it's just started recently, most of the time the transports leave the stations no problem. Perhaps try greifing the pilot that is doing the blockade untill they get the message.

It's not leaving the dock that is the problem, it's docking at the end of the route.

Rather than shoving them away from the station, why not make them automatically dock? <sarcasm> I mean, clearly that's what they're trying to do, they just can't remember what key they bound to activate. </sarcasm>

Then we'll get new players complaining about how long it takes to dock....

Beo, you're not getting the point. Someone Itani or aligned with the Itani took a Behemoth, and sat in the Pyronis docking bay so Serco CtCers couldn't get in. But automatic docking would solve that problem. Then the moth can't block the entrance.

Damn, blocking the docking bays...how come I never thought of that...

Now just wait until we have control of cap ships...heck, I'd pay money to see someone trying to pull that trick with a cap ship :)

(ignoring how much more interesting CtC will get with cap ships anyway :)
