You should be abble to order your ship to come from a station to another, without piloting it, i explain

you come in a station ( grey one for exemple ) and you want to use one unit of your Valk float in Jallik ( for exemple)
You should be abble to Order it ( not for free :) and a new carrying ship compagny will dliver it to station you ordered ( off course that compagny should have extremly high or infinite armour .

Interesting. How long would it take for your ship to be delivered? And at what cost?

1min/system it has to travel so it's a wait if it's too far but not that bad from somewhere relatively close, &, 1k per system as well plus the cost of the vessel and weaponry.

I say it should depend on the distance. And there should be a delivery ship like a behemoth that flys at top speed with ship added to its wieght. The Behemoth should also be inteligent not like the stupid delivery bots that just fly smack down at the station.

it would allso be nice to post these deliveries on station mission boards, so that other players can do these deliveries. Lets say you can take 2 disassambled ships in a moth or something.

The problem I see with having this as a player selectable mission is that what if no one wanted to, how long does the player with no ship have to wait before the computer decides to take the mission. I would hate to have to wait an hour just to see if any players were going to accept the delivery mission, and then have them get killed and have to start over. By that time I could already have gotten a new ship and died again potentially.

Maybe you get a huge amount of xp and it gives you a whack of cash and also gives you a free ship in the process. You have to market this kind of thing to the players and broadcast the statement on all channels. Make them want to do it, put a carrot in front of the donkey to make him move.

Yeah thats sounds ace, but not infinate armour, it gives the 'pirates' a chance to steal it and sell it on a black market. If you could wonder the space stations you could sit down like in a VW garage and have a coffee while u wait. ;)

oh yeah and if u wantedd to go more complicated the car company would have to re-imburst you or send another. and the car company could claim on the insurance company. :)
