I noticed by pressing "u" in-game one may see the goverment of the other ships and/or players in game. I was thinking it would be nice to have color'ed nicks in all the chats, Channle, Bar etc... The same color as the goverment they are apart of so that you know who is who.

nah, not having it on long range communications adds the interesting ability to convince an enemy to meet with you in the game. It doesn't happen often but it's very cool (and damn funny :D) when it does :P
