Rockets Are Too Powerful
I think we need to raise new ways to nerf the rockets, as they are obviously far too powerful in their current form, and virtually everybody uses them. I mean these babies can take out any ship with just 2 hits, they auto-aim, and have nearly limitless ammo...
I suggest halfing the ammo limit, decreasing the speed, and making the players ship explode when fired.

I'm with icarus here. up the levels to heavy 14 combat 12 as well. They are obviously too powerful.

roguelazer: the problem with them is that no other ship than the prom -can- use the rockets. Try it yourself.
Add to this that they can't even -hurt- a ship that boosts straight at you, they trigger and cause damage -outside- the players sphere of influence.
Topple it with even less ammo than the rails, MUCH slower than them as well.
Together with this we add that the new ships are far faster than of old, and that rockets haven't been changed since alpha days -EXCEPT TO NERF THEM-
This has completely destroyed the flare as a weapon you can equip on a vulture.
Way to go.
one less flare/Vult pilot in the game, I guess you really have found the niche for theese weapons now, right?

Better rockets would even combat out with the double barreled cents I think. Their low armour isn't such a disadvantage since they can hardley be hit with energy and there are currently no useful s-port rockets.
No! don't do that! then players like Aon will have troubles, besides, light ships aren't supposed to have rockets!
well, now that the ram has been dealt with a bit, I see no reason why rockets shouldn't have a bit of a cut in mass. They are WAY too heavy for what they are.
