This could be very helpful in many different scenarios. It could help pirates negotiating with traders (give me half your cargo and I let you live). It could help chasing people carrying CTC cargo (Xi ore). It could also help in duels. As always, just my 2c.

could the same thing be done with some sort of cargo scanner that has already been suggested? Like a mineral scanner but for a ship and it's cargo, give's full specs?
