Petition for the return of "The Race Track Sectors" Im sure that those of you who were in the test when these existed will remember them well.

For those of you who were not, these consisted of a series of convoluted tubes / pipes some of which were transparent. Usuall race senario. Fastest person wins. With all the new ships like the Rev C there should be even more competiton.

Perhaps a w/h could be created in each of the Capital sectors ( Dau, Itan and Sol ) Only UNARMED ships would be able to pass through the w/h and as a security precaution you would only be able to leave the race sector through the w/h you entered by.

While i am certaintly for racetracks, I think it would be more fun to just add them all over the universe, maybe one in every system that contains a capital station. then we could have the universal racing circut. :) Put them in an empty sector and mark that sector with a little hampster tube gfx on the navmap. :) include one of the old outpost stations from the alpha universe so people can repair after they bang thier ship up in the tubes.

A race track in every capital sector sounds good. :-)

Oo can we have one of the rotating wheel stations with the tiny docking ports? Those were awesome!

"universal racing circuit" i like the idea of that!!
Perhaps there could be a prize fund for the fastest player on each track. Say 100 credits to use the track as often as you want until you leave the sector.
