That's a hell of an idea. It would be great for defending, botting while people are mining, and ctc defense. I love it.

I agree that the agresso model should have more cargo units then the maud should. Should be 50 for Maud and 60 for Agresso, not the other way around.

NO, I think the two we have are about perfect the way they are, although the tung maud needs another l-port for mining, but a defendo would rock to have. And I think with those stats it would be fairly well balanced as a good defense ship.

wtf. The Aggresso has 17500. the so called Defendo would even have less armor. Meanwhile, the MMaud should have 3 L ports for mining, as well as mass/thrust increased. Although it will be slower to accel, it will have tons of armor. That is the real Defendo. A slow moving lug. No right mind would fly one alone. A group of 3 and a (one) fighter would be enough to cause threat if they would hold weapons.
But if you really want to make miners happy, a new line of low heat and moderate (2?) rate beams for the safe miners, and a speed (4?) mining beam that would have, heat 1.75?
Also, give the Defendo to some of the more inner "UIT" corporations, or even to UIT itself. We aren't supposed to be out in sleek fighters, more like convoy. And nothing is better for convoys than being slow with lots of guns.

Ummm, we aren't talking about making a miner (I was just making a quick suggestion about the tung maud, but that's for another thread). My suggestion was for another variant of the centaur. Not for mining, but along the lines of the agresso. Something for fighting. But slower and with less armor, to account for infiniboost and the larger hold. It might be used for trading or defending convoys. I could be useful for mining, but that's not the point of it. Use an amored Centaur Mk II if you want to mine safely, or better yet, use a ragnarok so you can get a couple of small port weapons in there with your mining beams. Or pay someone to protect you while you are doing it.
