I was wondering if on the stations there could be gambling!

Alien games! Ya Win Ya Lose! Maybe like alien racing games, or betting on a particular bounty being recovered by somone.

A Casino station would be really cool, though that would take a lot of dev time to get all the different games installed and functioning correctly, not to mention the artwork that would need to be made. But it probably would be a big hit if it were made. Something to spend your money on since you can't really customize your ships.

There used to be a casino bot in s11, but then its creator when..uh...ballistic and has not been seen since. It was a pretty cool bot, though. You sat in s11, msg'd the bot, and played slots. So, if they do decide to implement something like this, and you're right, I'd imagine it would take a very long time, (oooo and it should be put in gray space. Because, no self-respecting government would allow gambling in its own territory.), so we should get another player-created bot going! I personally have a Perl framework already laid out, but I never did get around to figuring out how to pipe commands to Vendetta....
