First of all, I like this game so far. Takes me back to Wing Commander Frontier :). I am sure this game is still in it's infancy, but I wanted to write down what I would love to see happening:

1. Being able to actually walk around the base with a "physical" character, hang out in the bar, go to the trade market etc. 1st person style I would imagine.

2. Generally more people (or aliens:)), less machines. I want a screen with my enemy or friend to pop up taunting me in combat. I want to see what these different races look like! This game really gets the imagination going, and it would be nice to sustain it.

Your right Koalition, VO is still very much in it's infancy, but it's growing, be it very slowly.

Walking around in first or third person has been suggested hundreds of times and the concensus is that when the game is more mature and the developers can start to think of developing a new engine or modifying the current engine to render people that it will happen, not a major issue at the moment.

I too would love to see some new "alien" creatures, races, tech, introduced into the game, killing bots over and over is extremely repetative and boring. Again, this would be NEW content to the game and the devs are still trying to get what they have to work correctly and that it is fun to do. Hopefully they will do something like this in a later expansion pack, perhaps as part of there mentioned "exploration" package.
