right, the question is "how much money does something cost" and "how much money do I have". knowing the order of magnitude for both these questions is trivial. you _know_ if you have 40K, 400K or 4M. if you have to stop and check that, you might want to stop trading for a little while anyway.

Actually In Roman numerals larger numbers are indicated by putting a horizontal line over them, which means to multiply the number by 1,000.
