New trading mission autoroute!
Please disable the autoroute-plotting(or make the computer ask if you want it) that the mission computer does for you, when accepting a mission.
The timer starts when you accept the mission. And you have to plot it after the timer starts 'cus of this "neat feature".
You can see the destination before the timer starts, and therefore you should be able to plot it at the same time.
Maybe a fix to this would be to have the mission timer start when leaving the station.

You may replot your route while you are turboing without losing time or am I missing something?
I suppose the clock could start once you launch...
they said they were gonna do just that ^ i think.
I'm confused. Why do you say you have to plot it after the timer starts when the mission already plots it?
If you don't re-plot the route, you will often run into ion storms in asteroid fields along the way, and lose your bonus.
Personally, rather than not have the navigational computer auto-plot any route at all, I'd rather see it become possible to adjust the path of the route without changing the destination at the same time, and have the timer start after leaving the station (and therefore after possibly re-routing the path). IMHO, this would be more convenient, wouldn't be unfair to anyone, and wouldn't take away any of the fun.

I'm happy with it as-is; if you want to re-plot, you've got to take the extra seconds to do it. I'd be happier seeing some small improvements to the Nav interface that would make the plotting easier, instead of dropping auto-plotted routes from TG missions.
Things that would make plotting easier:
If the hotkeys worked consistently [on my Mac, only Zoom To System seems to work, and only if cursor isn't in the chat field. A combo key would solve that, like Option-Z to Zoom, Option-U to Universe map, etc].
If you could insert waypoints along a route, and drag waypoints to move them.
If the switch to Universe view and Zoomed System view could happen more quickly.
Also, more interconnections between systems in the Universe Map would make for more interesting and varied route planning, I think, but maybe you have already hashed that issue out in the past. I'd like to see more connections across the great circular track that your Universe is, at present.
