Dungeons.......in space
Vendetta needs something like dungeons. This could be implemented by having subspace warp. They entrace could move from sector to sector or stay in the same place. Once enter a player has the option of leaving or meeting a challenge. Once some combination of challenges are met( of course there has to be a leader or boss), there is a reward at the end and the player would recieve experience for completing it. The experience could be used to buy a subspace warper that allows them to get into a dungeon they couldn't before. This would also promote scouting. Also the dungeon entrance would be found by phically searching for it.

"Dungeons" could be done, such as an asteroid where bots have dug into and "nested" in. But it would not resemble dungeons as seen in WoW or EQ. It would more be like an ant nest.

Actually, it might be possible to have warp-out points appear as a trigger instead of just being generically there... all this idea really needs is a few extra triggers implemented and then time to actually design the challenges.
Well, we did used to have a giant opaque tube maze that was really easy to get lost in... I even organized a "dungeon adventure" once with players trying to get through to the other side while fighting a series of player controlled goblin busses ;p
That sounds like it was cool. Bring it back... please?
