Make any sector that a CtC transport is currently in count as "Monitored" space for the nation which owns that transport.

That would greatly increase the faction loss from killing the transport. (-10 outside monitored space, -400 inside, I've tested this.) Although IMO the faction loss should be even bigger.
Also, if you slow down the transports and make them bigger, juicier, and harder, the bots will have time to mount an effective defense, and attacking will be made less profitable. That'd cut down on the lone Serco destroying transports in Itani space and escaping with the sum total of the cargo.

It's just annoying that a pilot can get Neutral Itani standing, come in to OUR space, kill our transports and players, take the cargo, and leave again... still with the same Itani standing!

I would agree to more faction loss for killing the convoy...

..but apart from that, it should be more if you kill it within itani space(its a risk anyway at -1000, but i can pull it off), so making it the same? nope...

So what you say is "prevent serco from attacking in any edras sector"? Ie, cut the race one system shorter in favour of itani?

Also, we -do- take a ~400 hit from killing a transport, or any of its guards, inside itani space. Its even more for players.

Though the Cent III makes it easy. :)

Btw Rogue, Spider is correct, a player, any player, killing an itani transport inside itani space takes a significant reputation hit, he or she definitely does not leave with the same reputation.

All I know is that I've seen Sercos shooting our convoys multiple times a week without getting hit by strike forces. Those guys must bot a lot to keep their standing up, eh? Anyhow, I would like this because my Serco standing is still above -900 and I want to lower it. Killing those Sercos in gray space doesn't help. :D

are they maybe catching them inside storms in jalik and divinia, most of the asteroid sectors there are unmonitored and provide a chance to kill a transport without being noticed.

My itani reputation is -994, entirely from CtC, you would not believe how small my reputation loss from killing the itani convoy bots has become. I had to kill 20 to loose the last point of itani rep.

I get strikeforces after me just from being inside monitored sectors in itani space.. that includes most of the storm sectors in jallik.

Though that doesn't really stop a cent mkIII from going in, killing off the trans, dodging around a roid, turning and grabbing the cargo and being off with it. Which is why I want the cent to have almost no cargo space. Just because I can do it, doesn't mean its a good thing.

As for my itani standing.. its been -1000 since I realized that I take a hit from killing transports inside Itani space. *cough* That didn't really sit well with my mood (I had just botted up from -900 or so) So I took to killing a few more players inside Jallik while I was at it.. ;-)

Oh... Does that mean I can have my itani standing fixed? I really didn't know that killing those people would ruin my standing... at least not the transport... *cough cough*
