Less tweaking more content
"but it seems to me that a LOT of content was removed from the alpha and beta times and now it should be reimplemented."
Heh. Nope.
Heh. Nope.
No.
The cap ship just sat there. It didn't do anything, was not flyable except as a hack by the devs (read: I hear they changed the atlas's model and flew it around. not workable solution) and lost its wow factor the second time you blew it up. After all... it just sat there.
Race tracks were never used by anyone after the first time.
There are asteroids you can fly through now. In fact, most of the roids now are more interesting than the ones in beta/alpha.
Trust me, essentially everything from the alpha/beta looks like its now in the game. They're not holding out on you.

We MUST have undersea exploration! Or I will burst!
MORE UNDERSEA EXPLORATION NOW!!!
Stupid troll.

I don't even know where to begin.
You are wrong. Oh, you are right about quite a few things, but you are utterly and completely wrong in your analysis.
Yes, the latest patch was a big disappointment. But it was a big disappointment because it wasn't a comprehensive rebalancing, not because it was. The latest tweaks dealt with such a small percentage of the problems that of course they didn't generally effect how the game is played. They were incomplete (as was admitted). They were unfinished (as was admitted). And not only that they were as you say, unsuccessful _because they did add absolutely nothing to the game_. As such, I agree with you. They were a waste of time. But what do you expect from such an (effectively) haphazard and selective rebalancing?
The fact of the matter is that in the midst of complaining about the game having a place holder feel, you are demanding loudly that the game become more haphazard and more unbalanced and that more well 'place holder' content be added. The reason stuff seems like 'place holder' content is that it is unpolished, not because there isn't enough of it (that's a real but wholly separate problem). You don't know what the heck you are talking about, and I wish you'd just shut up. Alot of the content you want is pretty much impossible until some major tweaks are performed, and until such time the game will be annoyingly shallow.
But, it doesn't need to be. The game could at the least be the greatest online massively multiplayer PvP FPS you've ever played. Instead you are sitting here demanding that it be a sub-par RPG and a sub-par FPS and then at some nebulous point in the future we are finally going to consider creating (or rather recreating) enjoyable gameplay? Just be quiet. Combat here use to be really fun, intense, and not all that infrequent. What's really dangerous about your comments is that you understand just enough to sound like you understand things, and the last thing we need is an out cry from some portion of the fanbase to do it wrong.

Everything Starfisher just said, and:
As mentioned, the cap ships ARE coming back. This would have been ***IMPOSSIBLE*** without the mass and engine tweaks.

Some of which are still underway. The fact of the matter is that a well tweaked Ragnarok isn't a hinderance to introduction of bigger ships - its a necessity.
