As it stands, the only reference to the mentor system in the manual is "mentor: displays various mentor command help when typed out; use for player help" which is in the appendix.

If there are going to be rewards to mentoring people, there should be a larger blurb about it, probably in the Multiplayer section, so that new players know about the existance of the command, as well as how having a mentor can help, etc. It really seems like very few of the new players know about the mentor feature, so the chances to mentor are few and far between (I haven't had a player to mentor since the first week)

also, this seems as good a place as any to make another mentor request... could we change the command from "please be my mentor" to "you're welcome to become my student" ....i.e, a command the mentoring player types, rather than the n00b... I'm sick and tired of always having to say "okay, then, please type </mentor invite thurisaz>, now...."
