Four suggestions
If these suggestions are posted elsewhere, I do apologize. I checked the current list, however, and do not think that they are:
1) I suggest having the manual available for PDF download so that it can easily be printed out.
2) Allow the mouse "slider" to be assigned a function (such as acceleration)
3) Have key mappings for next/previous enemy, not just "nearest" enemy
4) Have a key mapping to automatically set your destination to the sector where you just came from. That is, when jumping from one sector to another, sometimes you quickly come under attack and the whole procedure (hitting "n", choosing the spot, hitting "close") takes just a few seconds longer than you really have...having a single button to do all that for us would be very helpful I think.
Of course, I am fairly new at the game so these suggestions may not be very relevant for advanced players. All I know is that they would be helpful to me!

No, oddly enough, for the most part these suggestions haven't been mentioned before (exception is #3).
-I can make a PDF of the manual, I suppose. I'll need to buy a copy of Acrobat, though. Next paycheck, or something.
-I think slider commands vary with the mouse driver, and are relatively difficult to set up in a crossplatform game without further splitting the binaries. May be possible. Let's see what the Devs have to say.
-I like the return-to-origin idea, especially for cargo retreival missions.

Do not buy Acrobat until you have exhausted the possibilities of free ;).
