What with Christmas coming up, I'd like to see an option to order gift months (and/or X hours play time as was suggested earlier). I'm giving a couple of VO boxes to friends for Christmas, but at ~ $30 a box, I can't afford to give out too many. And likewise, I'm rather leery about signing up for a recurring billing service on my credit card for someone elses account.

I realize the devs are swamped right now, and already have more important stuff to work on, so I don't expect to see this before this Christmas, but there are other gift giving occasions it could be kinda nice to have this option for.

hmm, maybe an E-Key like they had for the pre-order specials. No real paperwork for guild,the consumer could just pay for the E-Keys, print them out from the e-mail and give them to friends with the box.

For that matter they would also solve the not wanting to have credit card information stored wish as well. those players could just buy the Keys for themselves.

This is getting a big ole push to the top. I was thinking about how I could give a gift of VO time to a friend and searched the forums on the topic. We are getting close to prime gift giving time in much of the world -- regardless of your religious pursuasion. How about it Guild? Give us the ability to give you more money! :-D

I LOVE this idea! I know a coupla persons who'd get hooked on VO if they got to play it for more than eight hours...

I know of two people who would love gift subscriptions. Three, actually counting me.

I noticed this past weekend at Fry's Electronics that they had 5 or 6 boxed sets of VO for only $9.99. I don't have $50-$60 to spare at the moment, but I am thinking of going and buying a couple for the heck of it...Not to use the free month's subscription, but for the memorabilia factor, or for a gift if I run across someone that wants to play. OR hold them hostage and sell them for MILLIONS when this game goes Platinum!!!

I think it's a great idea for an "E-Key" that can be bought for people. Giving someone a month to try it out is great.
