Can we have it back? Even if it means paying ludicrous prices for other nations ships (should then be an incentive to stay alive for longer). Not only does it obviously allow access to a wider range of ships for players, but it also makes the Corvus faction look even more corrupt... ;-)

Maybe rather than always having the same equip available there, it should vary according to what they got "in stock"?

Corvus buys ships/weapons for absurd prices, then sells them for even more absurd prices... but you have to be high on their standing.

Needs to be some limiting factors, 'cause I can see some potential for all sorts of behavior that would make the game less fun...

I just realized that Soltis doesn't know how the old Black Market worked, so this is just an explination:

It was a mission, that required you to pay 100 000 cr, and trade in a nation special ship, in order to get any other nation special ship.

So, you could get a standard valk, by taking your prometheus or marauder to Corvus, handing it over along with 100k cr. and take your new, shiney, Valk out and get beaten to pulp by the pirates just outside the doors.

Absolutely. We need the black market back. It should be difficult and expensive, but there must be a way to access all ships in game no matter what nation you belong to. Maybe we could have a real _market_ where Itanis sell their valks and Sercos their proms, and those ships can be bought by others. Obviously, if you sell one you take a standing hit with your nation (traitor!). It should be possible to trade other equipment as well.

This sounds great, Its a little wierd that corvus seems to have so little in the way of a black market. You get people going there for FC or one or 2 weapons, but I really want something to protect over there. If the devs bring it back, I promise to help make it tough to actually get there :)

I got a better idea, lets get the weapons and engines balanced. Then provide a black market when it wont be used just as a "pickup your valkarie" location.

let's get the BM Back and let's have our "pickup your valkarie" back =P
